The People

Behind the Pages

We are editors, stylists, travellers, and home cooks—and we have never once stopped being readers first.

Where We Come From

HomeFindss began as a single conviction: We wanted to write about homes the way homes feel. About the chair that costs nothing and means everything. About the trip that changed the way you think about your own front door. About the meal that became a ritual and the recipe that has lived on a scrap of paper in a kitchen drawer for twenty years. About all the unremarkable, irreplaceable details that make a life beautiful. So we built a publication around that idea. And we have been building it—slowly, deliberately, with enormous care—ever since.

The Editorial Team

We do not chase trends for the sake of them. We do not publish anything we would not want to read ourselves. And we care, with an almost unreasonable intensity, about the quality of every word that carries the HomeFindss name.

“We are not here to show you what a home should look like. We are here to remind you what a home can feel like.”

What We Believe

These are not values we wrote for a website. They are the things we argue about in edit meetings, the standards we hold each other to, and the questions we ask before every single piece we publish.

Slow is better.  We do not publish to fill a calendar. We publish when something is ready. Good writing takes as long as it takes, and our readers deserve nothing less.

Beauty is not decorative.  The most beautiful things we have encountered—in homes, in food, in travel, and in writing—have always been doing something. Carrying meaning. Holding memory. Telling the truth.

Real homes are more interesting than perfect ones.  We have always been more moved by a home that is genuinely lived in than one that is perfectly styled. The wear and the warmth are not flaws. They are the whole point.

The table is sacred. Whether it holds a weeknight dinner or a celebration that will be talked about for years, the table is where the most important things happen. We write about it accordingly.

Our readers are intelligent. We do not explain. We do not condescend. We do not assume that a reader needs to be told how to feel about a beautiful thing. We trust the work, and we trust the people who read it.

What We Cover

HomeFindss publishes across four distinct but deeply connected verticals, each one reflecting a facet of the life we aspire to help our readers build.

I. Home & Interiors.  The spaces we inhabit—how they are designed, styled, and above all, how they are lived in. From intimate room profiles to sweeping renovation stories, from the single perfect lamp to the house that took thirty years to become itself.

II. Food & Entertaining.  Recipes that are worth making. Tables that are worth setting. The rituals around food that make a house feel like home. We cover the cooking, the gathering, and the quiet ceremony of a meal made well.

III. Travel & Away.  The places that change the way you see your own home. Hotels that feel like living, towns that feel like secrets, journeys that take you somewhere you didn’t know you needed to go. We travel slowly and write honestly.

IV. The Life Well Lived.  The broader canvas: fashion & lifestyle, seasonal living, objects of meaning, the books and makers, and slow practices that sit alongside the beautiful rooms and the good meals. The full texture of a life considered with care.
